Hi, i was just wondering if you could help me with this problem i'm having on Everquest.

I recently got a USB keyboard and it works fine on SOCOM, however it doesn't work on Everquest. I've tried it in keyboard chat, normal chat but still not working. Have i missed something to get it compatible with Everquest??

Well i've tried unplugging it and putting it in the other USB socket but i switched the game off while i was changing them. I might try switching the ports over in game and see what happens. If nothing happens then i guess i better get used to the controller way of typing

Loose USB connection maybe? Press R3, if it doesn't type unplug the keyboard and use the other USB socket, then try typing. That works for me.

Nope still doesn't work :-(

Like you said if it works with SOCOM it should work with this, i mean i'm pressing R3 which the manual says is the quick keyboard chat so god knows what's wrong.

Oooh i do have my Socom Headset plugged in as well. Next time i'm on Everquest i'll give that suggestion a try and then report back with many thanks

Make sure that the other USB-port on your PS2 doesn't have anything plugged into it (like a SOCOM headset) when you're using a USB keyboard with EverQuest.

That's the only thing I can think of really. If it works with SOCOM then I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with EQ too.
