Looking at the list of third party devellopers, only three were "must have" games.
One was Rogue Leader (which is second party not third party) and the other two were by Sega.
In the early stages, Nintendo are aiming to capture the hardcore gamer like us. We go for the serious quality from Nintendo, the second parties and the best companies like Sega.
The rest, the bulk of sports games, racers and clones are more important in later stages to attract all those casual gamers. That was what Myiamoto said.
And he is right.

so with this little bit of evidence what shigsy said there wasn't infact true but part of it was , as ninty from the looks of their release list above have chosen the games from only the best 3rd party developers , not your average jjoe bloggs developer , bringing out bog standard software. So yet again nintendo are sticking to their seal of quality and are only letting excellent games through.
