I was hoping I could have a quick bit of advice about RE:CV. I was fairly sure I would go for this game, but I just went to IGN, and saw the review score. 6.5?!?!? Is that correct?

Does this mean its a bad game, or is it just that the Americans never liked it anyway.

From what I read, it seemed the only thing he didn`t like was the controls (which you can always get around) and the fact that its all a bit old now. I`ve never had a Res Evil game before, never even played one in fact, so I`m hoping its still worth it.

OPS2M gave it 9, and PSM2 gave it 80, which shows they think its good, but can that be trusted completely?

Resident Evil CV is a great game and well deserves an 9 and 80 from those mags, you can totally trust the british mags to give you a straight answer.

This is a game for any Resi fan or a newbie to the genre. I played Resi 1 to 3 on the PS1 and am looking forward to Resi 4. You shouldn't compare it too much to the DC version as I didnt go out and buy a DC and the game just to see how the story continued.
The PS2 version adds more depth to the game and is a game to own for any Resi fan or survival horror junkie.

Definitely. I had Tekken 2, but not 3. I love Tag, and far prefer it to DOA2. The criticism is only true when you have Tekken 3, and even then, the similarities aren`t that great. You need to put them side by side, but once you do that, it certainly shows!

I`ve got a recent win that is unclaimed, and I think RE:CV may be the one to go for as you say. For Res Evil newbies it sounds perfect.

ssxpro, alot of people say tekken tag is absolute garbage and is the worst game they've ever played why? because except for graphics and a few tag moves it's very similar to tekken 3. PSW gave it an awful review and kinda "dismissed" it.

Code Veronica is no exception, The only things I've heard are it's an old dreamcast game, no different, not worth playing again etc but code veronica is still an amazing game and manages to top a nice score over on gamespot.

I don't think your average gamer is going to buy this game again if there's just more FMV but if you've never played it, this is DEFINATLY a game to own.

highly reccomend for your next prize, lol.

I think it will be good, most of the mags say it is. Maybe IGN gave it that score because they dont think it is much different from the DC version?
