Latest figures show that the PS2 apparently sold 97,000 units in the UK last week (which I find difficult to believe), and if that's true, I don't see why Sony would seriously cnosider droping the price.
I started a topic over on the Ninty forum listing quantities of consoles sold last week.
Why would they bring the console down in price in at the one time of the year where the things sell fastest? There will be no reduction until the Jan. sales are but a memory, and, to be honnest, I wouldn't even get my hopes up then either.
