Here's an artivle I found:

"Boohoo, and you thought the mere two week delay of the GameCube was sad? Get a load of this!

Microsoft has officially announced that its touted console debut will be suffering a massive delay - 5 MONTHS! The black box will not ship until February 2002, giving Nintendo the advantage it may need to gain a user base. It's quite obvious that the Nintendo heads may have known a bit more then we we're lead to believe about Microsoft.

Could this be a sign of things to come? Not likely - Nintendo is known for it's delays but it's great help for Nintendo."

What is Microsoft thinking? Maybe it is a wise move though, not to have the launch so close.

Supposedly, when Microsoft bring out the X-Box in Europe, it will have a HUGE selection of titles.

That was from a guy who was being interviewed on Game Network. The new Abe game looks brilliant, but it's not my sort of game. Halo for me...

EA Sports are releasing a load of sports titles in the USA which they're not in Japan, for obvious reasons.

How come the Jap release may have 3 games less than the US release, but is a couple of months later?

You would have thought that in thatcouple of months, more titles would be finished and ready for launch.

Or is it just me?

Yep, Microsoft have still confirmed the following dates:

November 8th USA launch with 15-20 titles
February 22nd Jap launch with 12-20 titles

We're still waiting to hear about Europe, I would expect around April/May 2002 though.
