Did anyone go to this year's Reading (I steadfastly refuse to call it the Carling) Festival? Who did you see, who was good, what did you do? I missed most of it this year so fill me in.

Frank Black was the one person I really wanted to see this weekend. Missed him. Damn.
Everyone who saw him told me it was great because he did some Pixies stuff. Well OK I love the Pixies but people don't give him enough credit for his solo stuff - Teenager of the Year and Dog in the Sand (the new one) are just amazing. Like Stephen Malkmus, one of the true icons of the american alternative scene who is still doing it today.
I can't believe I missed him again.
