Although most of you spend every living moment typing messages on SR what else do you use your PC for?
I've got a couple of audio mixers my turntables and a Mini Disc linked to mine, it's mainly used games and music, thats it, a good use. What about you?

One guy at i8 got very annoyed with his PC and took it in to the toilets, where I found him ripping it up (literally) and chucking bits around...he later calmed down and tried to rebuild it, while still in the toilets..

Alternatively, the Promo video showed a bloke with a large baseball bat mutilating his PC and throwing it in to a wall - anyone else got stories of major damage being caused to a PC through infuriation? (also known as Windows).

Games, chat, the net schoolwork.

I use it for watching DVDs upstairs if the DVD player downstairs is in use, for programming and compiling in C++, for finding out information on the web about virtually anything, for playing games, for writing letters, for sending e-mails to penfriends across the world, for entering competitions on the web, for downloading music and film clips, for keeping financial records, online banking, keeping track of my Dreamcast collection, for updating my software with Windows Update, occaisionally I'll even read the Windows 2000 Pro Help Guides so I know what I'm doing with the operating system, for spreading my views about gaming on discussion forums like FOG, and MOST IMPORTANTLY of all for researching what Dreamcast game and X-Box games I will be buying next.

Apart from that, I don't use it a great deal...

Mainly for the net and music. I did use it for games a lot and I have a big collection, but my PC broke and took months to fix, and I got out of the habit. I also got my PS2 in that time, which added to it.

Porn, MP3s, Games news. thats about it.

I mainly use mine for games and the internet, but as i am going to 6th form i will probally use it for work aswell.
