It's about time I joined the cd writer bandwagon but am having some problems - its a rocky path to get one.
You see I was planning on getting the 59.99 cd writer from Special Reserve and was about to buy it but noticed one problem...
Easy CD Creator - does not work with Windows 2000
This was quite a worrying prospect for me. I have used Easy CD Creator and it's well... easy. And if I got the 59.99 cd writer from Special Reserve it would come with Easy CD Creator.. but I can't use it. And what would I have to use instead? What's good for Windows 2000?
I've already bought Rainbow 6 with Eagle Watch and that doesnt work with Windows 2000 so basically I don't want to waste more money.
Anyone got a solution to my dilemma?

It should work with windows ME. Easy CD creator is good for making music or MP3 cd's also CDR WIN is pretty good for backing up or copying other disks. So maybe upgrade to windows ME is the answer.
I also have nero and i recommend it. It has not failed me so for and is easy to use.
I got a CD Writer last week, I installed Easy CD creator on Windows ME and it worked great with PC Games. BUT! it does not copy Playstation games, I suggest you get Nero.
It was a shame I could not back up my Playstation games. :)

but if you want a good cd to mp3 and mp3 to cd thingy get the E-Jay Mp3 Station ....i have a 30 day trial and its amazing! mp3 player,VERY fast ripping..what more could you want?!!
