Anyone remember the demo in last years Space World which had stunning visuals of Link fighting Gannon?

Well that's nothing like the game is really going to be like!

If you go to IGN.com, take a look at the new screenshots. They're completely different, and in my opinion, for the worse!

It looks like Link was drawn by a 5 year old put in charge by Miyamoto whilst he was on his coffee break!

I haven't seen the game in motion (cos I haven't had much time) but the new look Zelda game looks horrible!

I hope there's enough gameplay to overcome this terrible new look!

Harder to process? Hmm, appearances can be deceptive...

I've heard that this cell shading technique is harder to process than normal polygons.

There still won't be any slowdown though.

Heh, at least there's no chance of a slowdown, what with the simple graphics and the power of the GC, eh?

All games these days go for the dark style of graphics.

This cartoony cell shading should make it more special.

It's said to be more smoothly animated than anything you've ever seen.

It's a big risk that Shigsy is taking in the gaming world, what with such an important licence for Nintendo. But if it turns out to be successful, then Ninty will have retained its status for surprises and innovation.

LOL @ Edgy's timing....

Thanks for the info, though... I would only have been told about Zelda 56 times if it weren't for you!

Meka is not mine, the last sentence should read: Has anyone read my post about Meka's Zelda theory?

Go back to IGN Edgy my son and take a good look at the video clip. The screenshots don't really show you much of what the game's really like, you see, the video is pleasing, because the in-game graphics and gameplay look marvellous. It looks like the gameplay is pleasantly fluid-working and the graphics are, in my opinion, a fresh change to the typical graphics that past N64 Zelda games are notorious for.

As I said, the screenshots aren't reliable enough, you really need to see the video.

Has anyone read my post about my Meka's Zelda theory?

I was as shocked as anyone with the GC Zelda screens!! I just asumed with the shots shown at last years Spaceworld that they were already part of the GC version!! I have to say Im a little disappointed but I havent seen them in motion yet!!
A little different yes, but the gameplay will be there without a doubt!!
