The gamecube,Playstation2 and X box are all powerful machines....But which is better?
Ive hightlighted the good and bad points of each console.
GAMECUBE:
+
Its 256 bit machine
The speed is 3 times faster than a Playstation2
Its runs on cheaper, smaller mini disks
the machine will only cost£165
you can play the gameboyadvance games on the gamecube
you can use infra red controllers(wave bird)
it is very small
4 players can play
-
You can not play nintendo64 games on it unless you have a adapter.
The mini disks could easily get damaged
the controls are a bit fiddly at first
PLAYSTATION2:
+
Its 128 bit machine
Its 4 times the power of the playstation
You can play your old games on it
You can play dvd on it
It is portable..
You can easily use a memory card on it
-
its costs around 200-300 pounds
It is half the power of a gamecube
you cannot play multiplayer games unless you have a multitap
even then there is not that many multiplayer(4)games
the disks if not taken care of,can get easily scratched
XBOX:
+
It is fairly fast at 160 bit
You can play 4 player games
-
its by microsoft, who will spend time not just on the games,so they wont be as good
It is about 300 pounds
The console looks awful
the cds can EASILY get scratched as the port is very fiddly
The noise of air coming out like you may hear coming out of a pc machine can be heard coming out of the vents in the console, annoying
So if you want a new console, the Xbox is not a great choice
but,The gamecube and playstation2 are winning choices
make the right decision!

Also somehow i don't think that Nintendo will release an adapter that will allow you to play N64 games on your game cube because that would be counter-productive, however, seeing as the gamecubes special 1.5 giga byte disk can hold about 120 times more information than your average zelda n64 cart, it might be destinctly possible that Nintendo may release a compilation of all of their old classic N64 and other games although i hasten to add highly unlikely knowing nintendo.
But anyway, i definatly know that I am going to buy a gamecube and i'd advise anyone else to do the same, but only time will tell...
slik ~_~
>the x-box is in fact a 256 bit machine and the gc 128 so the x-box is more powerful.
Kingklik laughs. Do you see?
