Not bad numbers for Nintendo.
But the negative side is that the ps2 gets to many games into the list that the gamecube also has in its library.
Just look at the difference between ps2's THUG and gamecubes THUG numbers

Think why THUG on PS2 is outselling the GC is because of its features and the game is actually better on the PS2 graphically than the GC. More PS2s are in America than GC so that has an effect. Alot of people may have all 3 consoles or 2 of them. So if it was a PS2 and GC owner than the PS2 version is better as its frame rate is more constant, controls suit PS2 pad more, and the game has online play and face mapping. Alot of multi format reviews always state which version is the best etc so in multi format homes people will get the game for the console that has the best version.

Or maybe GC owners don't like Tony Hawk games.

And yes they do, followed by a massive bombing campaign on Sony + any PS2 owners. Seriously, people buy the most expensive, least powerful (and has no value-for-money bundles at all) and worst console in droves, and the Cube gets overlooked. Make sense?

Yeh, PS2 has very few decent exclusives.

How come Nintendo is doing so well (relatively) in the US, but not in the UK?
