Was just wondering how much it all costs. Noticed the other day something that mentioned £39.99 for the live kit but then you need to pay £39.99 every year as a subscription to the service.

That true?

Also do any of the games have an additional charge or is it all included within the subscription?

I don't have an XBox but my mate is considering putting his online but knows he wouldn't play it as much as most folk on here would.

no it's 40 quid a year, or should you decide to pay monthly, 60 quid a year.

the headset and that you can consider to be a freebie

I thought it was £20 a year. Seeing as you get a headset, disc and stuff with the starter kit, renewal shouldn't cost the same price.

Aside from your broadband connection, it's 40 quid a year for live, but with the starter kit you get a headset thrown in too.
