I would just like to know under what terms do game shops accept returns, many shops say they will accept games back for any reason up to 10 days after the game was despatched from them. But then in the same paragraph they normal mention that the game must be unopened, therefore if you buy a game and dont like it u cant send it back, is that right? What happens to the used games if they get sent back?

Thanks for your help.

Tony can u answer this...

I have a brand new unreal tournament for PS2, id like to swap it for Timesplitters, ive read ure catalogue and the games are priced like this...

Unreal 36.99

Timesplitters 32.99

Could u tell me how much extra I would have to pay along with the swap, considering im losing out on £4 on a brand new title i got yesterday, used about twice and now its wrapped up in the package it arrived in.

Thanks

I think if the package is in good condition but the game doesn't work the sadly it get's thrown away or something but they get a fresh new cart or CD that works and put it back in the same package.

Thats what i would of thought, but, the company says....

We will accept returns for ANY REASON up to 10 days after despatch.

We do not offer a no quible return for any official sealed or licensed products.

Now the game im talking about was rapped in a see through film, I have used it a couple of times yesterday when i got it and decided that i would of enjoyed another title. Its perfect condition no finger prints scratches etc.

I thought maybe they would accept it bk but with some conditions, for example, swap for another title only, no refunds, that way their not losing out. I asked what happened to the returned games to find out if in fact the company do lose out or if the games are sent off to be cleaned and repackaged.

Now come I think whether you open it or not and it don't work that's a different thing.
But if you don't like the game and opened it, well i think most shops will say 'no'.
