I've had a nes since 1990, and it's still going strong to this day. I've got around 20-30 games including:

Mario 1
Mario 2
Mario 3
Mario is missing
Solar Jetman
Trog
Duck Hunt
Wild Gunman

To name but a few. I still look around for more games, I'm especially on the outlook for Mario's Time Machine, to add to the mario collection. If anyone has it, I'm interested in it.

These days, I don't play with it as much as I did then, seeing as I have advanced on, and now play with an N64. But there is nothing like a bit of nostalgia to remind you of the days that were.

the games youve listed there are all a bit cack, a boy and his blobs quite good, you need to get duckhunt and the light gun, I think operation wolf worked with the light gun as well so you should get that. Sounds stupid but the was game called Duck Tales it was some Disney crapfest but it was actually really playable.

yep, the NES has on of those multi-tap things like on the playstation. You could buy the NES console with the 4 controllers in a set called 'super set'.

Here is the full description (from e-bay) of what I'm getting:-

A highly rare NES super set console bundle in original box. Includes all the required leads, a Nintendo 4 Score 4 player multi-tap device, 4 controllers. Comes with the original 3 game cartincluded with bundle ( super mario bros, tetris and Nintendo world cup) I have included an addition 5 games which are Robocop, Paperboy, Teenage Mutant hero turtles, top gun the 2nd mission and a boy and his blob.

Can anyone tell me if these games are any good?
what other games would anyone recomend buying? (I have Super Mario Bros. 3)

Really? people are still buying games for the NES and SNES and are also buying the consoles recently as well! and i thought i was the only one! in the past week ive just bought a NES with super mario bros & 2 controllers and a SNES with 1 controller & killer instinct and all of that cost me just £14 and both systems work and are in good condition! I have also bought in the past few days 2 games for the NES one is Faxandu (unboxed good condition), which is a rare RPG and can fetch up to £15 and up online! and the other is Defender Of The Crown, which is an original game where you take on the role of a knight and you have to joust e.t.c. with other knights and i bought it in it's box, with the extra black protective sleeve, and even the polystyrene and the membership card were with it and in mint condition! and i payed, wait for it... £5 for both games!!! what a bargain eh? if you know of any place or even web-sites that stock NES and or SNES games i would be most greatfull if you would tell me as i'm looking to build up a large colection, hopefuly! also to anyone who lives in the cornwall area, there is a second hand shop the has about 20 NES games at the moment, and there going for 2 for a fiver, just in case anyones interested, ive already been there, hence faxandu and DOTC, but there are still some Okish games there!
