How the hell do you take free kicks, everytime i try, it skies it over the bar :(

The best way well my way is to:

1)Aim the aimer at the tp corner ANY
2)press O to start the kick
3)just before it reaches the red press O to stop it then press O in the green.
4)Goal.

OR if it is close to the goals

1) Aim down at the ground of the goals
2) Press O to start the free kick
3) when it reaches the half way mark of the gauge press O
4) press O again when it reaches the green
5) you should score

my mate has the game and he described the system the same as fifa 2003. my advice would be:

target in bottom corner

press buttons at right time for power and accuracy

ball goes in top corner, even though you aimed bottom and its perfectly measured.
