Im a fan of the movie but im not sure whether i should get it or not, it looks similar to Age Of Empires (which i am also a fan of), if there are any other games similar to Age Of Empires can you tell me their names.

War of the Ring should be given credit for being one of the least exciting strategy games around, relying so much on other title like Warcraft 3 that you get the feeling that you've played it all before and ceretainly much better.
Wait for EA's effort I say, they're making a strategy game based on the C&C: Generals engine and set around the movies rather than the book. Could be good, could be bad, but I doubt it will be as painful to play as War of the Ring.
