I caught both of them for the first time last night, and they both had very funny moments.
FATFP had Brian Blessed as a guest star (you can tell this will be good), and he was going on about how come there was a sequel to Flesh Gordon, but not Flash Gordon. Doesn't sound that funny in B&W, but with Brian's OTT Shakespearian actor slant on it, it was great. The man is a star.
WOP was taking the urine out of how pubs keep changing and introducing new seemingly pointless features to keep the punters coming through the doors. Cue a 'my big screen is bigger than your big screen' battle (showing the Pub Olympics - events include 'selling the rose to the lady' and smoking). The end result was a drink off between two pubs. Two guys downing drinks - and getting nowhere. So they call sudden death - whoever downs his drink, and keeps it down, when his opponent doesn't, wins. This leads to much Exorcist style vomiting. Totally gross, but I was in fits. By the end the table was covered in fake vomit, as were the contestants. Very Mr. Creosote....
I must make a mental note to watch these two shows. Has anyone else watched them, and are they usually this funny?
