For anyone who doesn't know, it's the biggest UK LAN party, organised by Multiplay UK and held and Newbury Race Course. Lasts for 4 days, 840 people playing any multiplayer PC game (mainly strategy and FPS) on a nice 100mbit network. Very low pings, nice atmosphere, and the ability to go and shout at people playing in the same room as you...
Think they're running a few tournaments with prizes this time too, Counter-Strike, UT, Quake3 and so on. Should anyone live nearby, you can turn up at the door with your PC, 100 or so places left, but it does cost £70. Worth it for the real-life Counter-Strike matches alone, or CTF played Starship Troopers football style..
Anyway, this is all just an excuse for a note that I'll be away until Tuesday. Enjoy forum life without me, it should be...well, the same..
