Last week I bought one of those Action Replay cheat cards, you know the one that you connect up to your PC and download those 'powersaves'?

Well either I'm doing something wrong (most likely) or the thing ain't working right.

I've connected that little docking port up to my PC, downloaded various saves onto the card and for some reason the saves don't seem to be loading up. I have the cheat card connected to my controller like I'm supposed to (I think) and the saves are showing when I look at the memory section on the desktop.

So I was wondering if you guys know of any reason why these saves aren't working. I had one theory that they may not be working due to me having game saves already on my hard-drive, and those saves load automatically, but I erased a saved game and it STILL didn't work.

So any suggestions?

Thanks.

Okay, I've had enough of this stupid Action Replay thing, it's crap.

This'll seem like a really, really silly question, but when I'm disconnecting this thing from my PC, all I need to do is shut down the PC and unplug the thing from the USB connection, then erase the programme, right?

The only reason I ask, is because when I bought my Scanner, I remember the salesman saying something about how you shouldn't just simply disconnect stuff from a USB port.

Yea, you get a special Action Replay memory card with the package, you connect that memory card up to the docking station and transfer the saves to it. I think that's what you meant?. Maybe I'll try transfering the saves on my AR memo card onto a normal card and see if that works.

I'll need to get a normal card first though, thank goodness (SR) for reddies.

I dunno, but aren't you meant to be connecting the docking-leady-thing to a memory card, and not the controller?

then again, I dunno.
