"Nintendo have delayed the US release of the Gamecube, which gives the Xbox the vital edge in the console war.
It was announced last night, that Nintendo's new box of joy the Gamecube, wouldn't reach American stores until August 18th. The Cube was to be launched on November 5th, just three days before the US launch of the Microsoft Xbox. The delay is so that Nintendo can get more machines on shelves on the launch day - a nice idea, but this could cost them quite a few sales. The hardware allocation has been increased to 700,000 untis for launch day, with 1.1 million expected before the end of they year."
A whole 10 months delay? Or a mistake again.
