As I sit here writing this article, a gorgeous Panasonic Q is winging its way from Hong Kong to my front door.

A fully modded all region DVD Panasonic Q.

Comes complete with a stepdown convertor.

Comes complete with an English face plate for the remote control.

Comes complete with a Freeloader (so I can play PAL games)

I have wanted this little beauty since the first day I saw it in a magazine about two years ago and I e-mailed Panasonic several times about their ridiculous decision not to produce a PAL version for Europe (but to no avail).

Production of the 'Q' has now come to an end which made the decision to part with my well earned £££'s even more easy!

Its not that i'm excited about the arrival of this baby but lets just say that I am sitting on the door step waiting for the postman!

I just cannot wait.

I got myself a modded Q for christmas. It truely is a work of art!

I was going to buy it from Lik-Sang until a friend warned me of the dreaded thing known as "Import Tax". I had no idea whether i would be charged it or not, but I worked out that if i was charged on import, then it would add another £100 to the £300 already paid! For this reason, instead of risking it, i bought one that was already in the Uk, mint in the box of ebay

Ok so i probably paid £60 more than i should have but it gained me piece of mind. I also got thrown in Mario Party 4, Mega Man and Tetris Worlds. Ok not wonderful games, but games non-the-less!

Most games work with free loader. But not the newers ones. Althou i think thats my fault cos i didnt get the most recent version. You want 1.06B whereas mines 1.06b.

But it is definatly worth it. Even just to sit there with that Panasonic pad in your hands!

Were's the cheapest place to get one, apart from eBay? I sense a steep increase in value over the next few years.

Yeh, got it from Lik-Sang. With postage and everything it was approx £320.
Knowing that it is no longer in production MADE me buy it!
