I have recently been looking at security items to keep my laptop more secure, to prevent unauthorised access & if it's lost or stolen.
I was recommended to look at a hardware USB device called a Codemeter, there site is:
Link to Codemeter.
This one seems OK as it will totally disable the laptop and will not work without the USB key inserted even with a windows login. It will also store all logins and passwords which it will auto complete on a webpage - ie bank login.
I do wonder why the companies like nationwide building society don't use them if they are good. I recall a news story recently that they had thousands of customers details on a laptop that was stolen !!!
Has anyone else used this or similar products, if so can you recommend this as good or anymore that may be.
Thanks. Dan
