You know when you post something, well why is it that the second post in the thread, the first reply, sets the tone for the entire thread?

Look at the "Gamez is bad 4 U" thread in Prime as an example.

I swear Goatboy tries to intentionally railroad ALL of my posts ;-)

Mind you, more often than not it's because he posts something about Lylat Wars!

Check out the thread "gamecube will rock" for a prime example of "follow the leader"

Every time I get serious, people run for cover and I enter one of those marathon threads with massive replies and it makes my head hurt and i lay down wiv my headaches and \seg\seysye

Seriously for a moment, if someone posts just "Nice post" or "Nice topic" as the first reply, about half a dozen people will do the same, rather than add to the discussion, disagree with it, whatever.

I have no front lobe... maybe thats why....

..when I write a topic (which is rare nowadays) I hope to get a seriously reply and then it carries on from there, sadly this has not always been the case....

..I like it when you get people who do try and get the topic back on track and reffer to the original post.
