I remember getting all the codes to get those secret eggs and the ice key on Banjo-Kazooie, but what was the point in them?

I never bothered to see what happened? Did anything happen or not?

Oh, and with Mario Sunshine, is the alternate ending worth collecting all 120 stars or not?

I gave up at 106 I think..

Is there anything extra if you get abosolutely everything in Zelda? All treasure maps, chests, etc.? Playing through with Link in his jim-jams is a laugh though.

I thought the Ill Phantasmo bit was far more clever.

But I got all 120 shines as I did not want the game to end.

The "secret ending" to Mario Sunshine if you finish it with all 120 Shines is a character photo of everyone in the game, instead of the usual ending with Il Piasinimo finding at Bowser Jr's GADD brush.

There hardly is a secret ending in Sunshine.

Only worth doing if you really want to finish the whole game.

Originally there was going to be some kind of connectivity feature between Banjo Tooie and Banjo Kazooie to unlock stuff in Tooie.

This never happened.
