Whatever the result of this election, and whoever becomes a Notable by whatever means, PLEASE lets have no-one falling out over it.
We have a good group of people here on these forums, who have got on well for months. I'd hate to see any of us fall out over something which - in the grand scale of things - is pretty insignificant.
I understand Goatboy's objections and agree with his basic feelings.
I can't say that I find any of the Notables 'lordy' though.
My main concern in all this is that pb must be feeling like piggy-in-the-middle at the moment. He didn't ask for his 'election' and - despite Notable status meaning nothing outside of these forums - he must be feeling pretty awkward at the moment.
It's all just a bit of fun - let's keep it in perspective.
