A retro-style 3D side-scroller called Contra: Shattered Soldier is good if you like the arcade kind of games.

Quite agree, brilliant game, if your seriously into shoot em ups, you really need a Dreamcast/Saturn/Cube for titles like Ikaruga, Do Don Pachi (also on PS2 actually), R-Type final is "alledgedly" out on PS2 here first week of Feb.

Quite agree, brilliant game, if your seriously into shoot em ups, you really need a Dreamcast/Saturn/Cube for titles like Ikaruga, Do Don Pachi (also on PS2 actually), R-Type final is "alledgedly" out on PS2 here first week of Feb.
