:)
I thought DD1 was alright for it's time, and DD2 is still one of my favourite racers. But DD Raw was pretty poor as I don't think it was the Reflections Team that developed that one.
So I just really want to know if it's an improvement over Raw, and has it gone back to the good old DD2 days?
Thanks.

Visiting the Official Playstation website and they have a feature on the game and also a link to the website where it describes all the online action available in the game:
http://uk.playstation.com/games/gamesinfo04_game. [SPACE] jhtml?localeTitleId=1047974&linktype [SPACE] =SSL&linktype=MPC
"Taking the game out across the electronic ether via a PS2 Network Adaptor and a broadband connection, you can share the pain with 19 other death-dealing drivers. The quick-fix race of Wrecking Racing and vehicular violence of Destruction Bowl return for online play as well as three exclusive game modes. For those of you who want to recreate the pure racing thrills of Days of Thunder, the Speedway mode rewards drivers for their position past the chequered flag. You can still smash into your opponents, but the damage to your car and unpredictability of hi-speed collisions may strip you of an all-important podium position. Capture the Trophy mode challenges you to grab and hold onto the trophy - keep it long enough and you'll win, but you're unlikely to survive that long. On the flip side, you have Pass the Bomb, where the last thing you want to do is hold on to it for too long. You'd better ram someone soon to pass on your explosive gift."
Plenty of online modes to keep you occupied. But if you ain't able to get online theres still some multiplayer action, split screen, and a championship mode...
"Offline, DDA offers three fender-bending modes. The Championship is the main career mode where you take your chosen petroleum pilot from obscurity to the number one spot of the DD sport and Wrecking Racing is a one-off quick race for one or two players (split-screen). Returning from previous DD games the bowl arenas throw any idea of racing out of the passenger window in favour of full-on auto-annihilation."
Reading all the above and checking out the website [ http://www.ddarenas.com/index_en_GB.html ] really pushed me to get this game. Infact, I think I might go order it...
Hope this helps Lou Role!?!
I think I'll give it a go, I'm not exactly paying for it either, I'm just trading Vice City/GTA3 for it so I'm not really gonna lose anything.
But the reason I haven't played it too much, is because I also got Prince of Persia. I'm totally surprised at how good it is, I wasn't even gonna bother getting it to be honest, but I did take 6 PS2 games in for trading, so I had plenty of credit left over and decided to give it a go.
Graphically it's very smooth and well textured for a PS2 title, it's pretty fast and the way you can run up/across walls is cool, the fights scenes are great and it's really quite easy to pull off some totally mental looking kills, and the story is quite interesting as well. Anyway, I don't want to write a review here so I'll stop now.
