Was scrounging round the pre-owened bin in a certain high street store looking at the PS2 games. There was a beat-em-up in there, can't remember for the life of me what it was called tho. Was tempted to buy it, but didn't at the time for some reason.

I'm in the mood to play some beat-em-up games. Mainly as research for a current one I'm making myself.

Other than, Virtua Fighter, Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur, what other beat-em-ups are on the PS2? And which do people recommend?

Even ones which you might have bought and thought were a bit naff, please tell.

oh, one more thing. DON'T mention any wrestling games!!!

Soul Calibur. Amazing. I still haven't completed it though. 2 levels left. DAMN! Thanks for opening old wounds...

Some people miss the part of my post where I said "Other than, Virtua Fighter, Dead or Alive, SOUL CALIBUR, what other beat-em-ups are on the PS2? And which do people recommend?"

And add Tekken to that list to. I want to know about beat-em-ups which aren't the big hoo-haa ones. The little gems that are hidden away in the mass of games; that get forgotten about because they aren't from a long line of sequels.

That's right. There aren't many Beat-'em-Up's, but there are a fair few WWE games.
