Yup, even though it chucked it down during Coldplay yesterday, it still didn't deter me from me and my girlfriend the day's offerings.
This is a very short review of the bands I managed to catch yesterday at V2001, Chelmsford
Nellay Furtado - Caught the last segue of her performance, not really my cup of tea, but she has a fantastic voice in the live setting.
Embrace - Not bad, not bad at all - there songs don't really do anything for me, but they wasn't bad.
Wheatus - Sorry, but these guys SUCKED!
Coldplay - Good - but his voice doesn't carry well live unfortuantely
JJ72 - Quite good, they still sound like an early Placebo to me, but hey, that's my opinion. But they aren't bad, not bad at all.
Muse - Band of the day by a long mile and then some, they've got the songs, the sound and the charisma. Awesome stuff!
