I don't have one myself, but it will likely come with a docking station so you can connect the player to your PC and just drag'n'drop the MP3's onto it.
A CD-Rom drive will be sufficient.

You record them off your own CDs or you purchase them online (for about 60p each) from the companies that allow you to.
Most websites don't allow you to download tracks for free anymore, due to copyright laws.
