Having never played socom before, I have a quick question. On the single player, with the headset, does your team respond to different things when you say things or is the headset and speaker thing strictly for the online play? Just wanted to get that cleared out of the way.

So shouting orders etc does nothing for you in single player?

It can be used to issues commands.
Its in the manual, think you press circle to issue them (can't remember) but it only recognises certain commands such as "team fire at will"

But it can be used for single play and online play.

I never said to Pikachu "Breach, Bang, Clear!" and watched as he kicked down the door to a hut, threw in an M67 frag grenade then waded in wiping out anything left alive with an M4A1-SD silenced assault rifle.

There's lots of other neat tricks you can do to increase your offline scores, like instead of shooting a terrorist you can sneak up behind him and shout "Hands up!" into your headset. If he's surprised enough he'll surrender. Handy for when you're low on ammo.

Heh, does that actually work?

Might have to try it, although I never bothered to go past the first mission in single player...

Unrivalled services
Freeola has to be one of, if not the best, ISP around as the services they offer seem unrivalled.
10/10
Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
