I've been told by alot of people that other cables will give a better picture from my PS2, Gold plated/oxygen free cables are supposed to give the best picture, I've got a scart socket but need a cable that offers audio outut so i can hook it up to my subwoofer but hopefully one that avoids the "green"


any ideas?

What about the scart lead that SR stock which costs £12.99. It says its RGB and doesnt give green screen DVD playback.

You might not get as purer quality from the Blaze product because there is the switch and sometimes obstacles can degrade images.

Does it improve the picture?

theres one of those from blaze. exactly how you want it.

I've got a sharp 21 inch with only the one scart socket, If it had 2 sockets i could plug the PS2 in one and have the audio output from the other d'oh.

I really need a cable with the audio output sockets on the actual cable.

What sort of TV do you have?

I have a Sony Wega which has two phono socket outputs on the back - if you have a fairly new TV you should have the same.

Basically, my PS2 is connected to the TV through an RGB SCART lead, and the TV is connected through these outputs to my hi-fi using normal audio phono leads.
