When do you release a new console? Well I would say a minimum of 5 years (although the GBC wasn’t out too long) but I also believe a new one should come out when the other is well and truly finished!

The GBC is the same will Pokémon Crystal sell the same now that the GBA is out? Kirby tilt and tumble? The new Tomb Raider? Zelda Oracle games? No you see the best GBC games aren’t even out yet and the GBA is out maybe the GBA should have delayed its release and got better launch titles as well!

The PS2 is the same though, Syphon Filter 3 isn’t out yet and it is a Playstation game! I am aware the Playstation is more popular but why release a new console when the old one still rules the world? The PS2 would of got a better start as well! The Gamecube is also wrong! Ok the N64 is still alive but only just especially with only 3 major titles (Mario Paper, Mario Party 3 and Tony Hawks 3) are left and so the Gamecube should have been planned earlier and came out sooner!

Getting it right is difficult one well placed console was the Gameboy Colour! The GBP was doing well with Pokémon Snap but due to this Nintendo felt it was time to move up to the next stage and was released just at the right time! So you agree with this though should consoles start when the other dies out or just before? That could be a good time with only a month left of the consoles main titles like the N64’s last good month was March! Other than Excite bike few other games have come out! Maybe June might be a good time for the Gamecube!

But we all know it isn’t that simple the Gamecube needs enough support and strength of launch titles but timing is vital!

Here’s to the Future

I think that the GBA was originally meant to come with the Gamecube.
Nintendo then saw that the Nintendo couldn't last until then so they've released the GBA early with one or two original titles and some classic conversions to keep us occupied for 6 months.
I think that it'll work quite well but Nintendo are clearly over charging on games.
I think that they should've been priced for no more than £25.

However, ninty can wait... they are one of the few companies making money in the industry. Why? They are the biggest publishers of games, and they charge huge amounts for cart production!

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
