A few seconds later I lost the blue bar above and below the banner at the top. It only seemed to happen on one window, even when I went to a different forum. Strange...

No, I just pressed "print screen" and slammed it straight onto a jpg. Even that was 70/100 quality.
That took ages to load. To me, it look like you edited the picture. I thought I was the only person who had 2+ windows open at once.
So what is or was it?
Hmm, it appears to have been a weird browser crash. Probably God's way of telling me I spend too much time here :-D
