I just bought a PS2 and it doesn't work!!!
When I put in a disk it starts to make a clicking noise and the game won't start. If I go into browser, it just says reading disk..... and it never finishes "reading" it. I am left with a bill of £450 (irish pounds) and a stupid black box with games (gt3 and red faction), controllers (2), and an over priced memory card. What the HELL will I do???????
Please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

anyway... I personally think hitting it will work.
Because the PS2 is so powerful u will need to hit it hard.

You won't go far wrong with SSX.
You could also choose Onimusha if you like that sort of game.

If you get SSX you wont regret it, its a great game with superb graphics and gameplay to match.
Take the PS2 back to the shop, along with the receipt, and ask them to change it. Also ask them to test the replacement before you leave the shop, just to make sure.
If they refuse or tell you to call Sony, then do ring Sony on 08705 99 88 77 and they will have a new PS2 delivered to you by courier in 48 hours. The courier will, obviously, be expecting to take your duff machine back, so make sure you have it ready to go.

Where did you get it from, sounds like there is something wrong with the lazer, take it back, if they wont swap it phone sony and they will. For the sony number check topic dula shock 2 problem.
