Anyone else got the telly on?

Well, here's my question...

If you drive...
what do you drive?
what would you like to drive?
When did you pass your test?
how old were you?
how many attempts did it take?

If you don't drive...

why not?
Have you ever tried?
what car would you like to drive?

I'm into cars you see. This has nothing to do with FOG but hey, why not. I would also be interested in what Tony's chauffeur drives...

I'm 15 so I can't drive, I want to pass 1st time though and drive a Subaru Impreza!

Insurance companies don't always fall for that, especially with a performance car such as an Imprezza. If the car doesn't belong to your Dad, or he isn't the main user of the vehicle they will probably get suspicious of a 17/18yr old just passed son being a named driver and hike your Dads premium accordingly.

Even if you do that, the downside is that you won't build any no NCB yourself, making it harder for you later on when you try and get your own insurance. Of course, you still have to buy the car itself, they're not excactly cheap to get your hands on.

I don't want to sound that negative about it, I hope you can get one, they're nice cars.

I've got a great cheat for getting round insurance prices:

Get your dad to insure the car for any driver!
It works! Its so much cheaper! My dad does it with all the cars in our house, so apparently he drives a Mercedes Benz C180 Elegence, Ford Escort Estate (new one), VW Golf, a Ford Transit van and soon a Subaru Impreza!

And yes, the new impreza's are bloody ugly! I like the P1 though!

That doesnt suprise me, I'm surprised those things get round the average corner without getting off the bike and lifting the front wheel round... :D
