1: Why did no one tell me the game is actually a good laugh?

2: Why did no one tell me that you can pick it up for £5?

3: How do you make Godzilla run rather than jump, I'm struggling with this.

4: Why does it work so much better with a Hori pad?

And finally the most important and annoying question of them all:

5: On the side of all the other 54 Gamecube games in my house (including 2 of my brothers) there is a green triangle along the spine at the bottom, you know the one I mean. In my collection of 53 Gamecube titles 52 of them have green triangles but Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee has... a purple one?

WHY?

I know it's fine on the analogue stick...

But that Hori pad was built for multi-player...

now where can I get Capcom Vs. SNK cheap...

ANd Tilt said it! :-P

Well you see, after the rest of us bought it, price wasn't important no more...

Hehe!
You've got to press DUCK not jump! :-D
(L I think)

Is that the SNes Pad?
It'll be to do with the Smash-Brothers-style "direction + button" move controls.
It's clearer what direction you're pressing on a D-Pad so you've got more control over what moves you make.

It's fine on an analogue stick with a little practice though. ;-)

that's the thing you see... Dringo and Dingo are pretty different sounding things despite the similarity.

Sur name is Dring... like Ring... like Ringo starr off the beetles... put the D back and we have Dringostarr or Dringo.

Dringo reminds me of Dingo.

Therefore i think of dringo as a wild dog typing at a keyboard.

I have more bizarre associations, but we will just leave it at that for now.

And I think the green triangles were for quick recognition of the format of a particular game in the warehouse or something.

Presumably then some publisher(s) or someone has a slightly different (pink) system...

If memory serves it was a lighter press of the shoulder button to run, all the way to jump.

If you're using the hori pad that might explain it.

But it's been a while since I played it, so I might be wrong. I'll go check next time I'm near the cube...
