I've had 3 games that have done the exact same thing. Midtown Madness and Roadkill for a start. They were both completely fine and then one day when I went to play them they just don't work. The screen kinda gets divided into 4 fuzzy parts of the games screen if you get my drift.

It's like magnets have ruined them or something. Then I bought 'A Fist Full of Boomstick' yesterday as it was cheap and it's doin the same thing from 1st try. Other games work so it's not the box and the disks are clean and scratch free.

Any ideas? ? ?

It's not a problem with the console cos other games work fine on it.

magnets can't ruin CDs like they can ruin tapes.

to be honest, I think it sounds like your xbox is the problem, not the games. Mine packed up several weeks ago - it stopped playing all my stuff. Can you still watch DVDs on it?

There's definately something wrong because I just ran through all my games and 4 of them are doing it now.

Is the Tv giving out bad magnetic rays or something. Also, there is a big speaker amp about 1ft away from the pile of games.

The only game I've ever had a problem with is Need For Speed underground.

It froze 3 times in the same night, and it hadn't frozen before that or since that...

Weird.

Hmmm. My Xbox is far more unreliable than my trusty ancient Cube.

Stupid big waste of space except for Splinter Cell, JSRF and KOTOR.
