Maybe, but obviously it won't look the same when playing, since it is a FPS. It's true that you see a lot of third person screenshots, obviously to entice the viewer to stay interested.
As i said, i very much doubt Halo 2 is worth the almost 1 year wait.

Sadly, I don't. It doesn't spark the imagination into thinking "Wow! Now THAT looks excellent!" by leaking any kind of innovative things Bungie might have in store for Halo 2's multiplayer modes. In fact, that screenshot - save for the slight indication of there being more than one "Master Chief" on-screen - that it even IS a screenshot taken from Halo 2 multiplayer. No HUDs and no Gamertags or microphone symbols lingering in the air.
So all in all, that screenshot sucks gorilla scrote.
It's not like the wait is making me think, "Oh it is going to be worth the wait, it will be an excellent game" because its not, if anything it is p!ssing me off.
By then i will be thinking "Halo, um, yea i vagly remember it".
Jeebus what the hell are they doing, are they just sitting there thinking that if they just keep pusing back the release date then more people will want to buy it? Or it will be better?
I thought the original reason for it being pushed back to April was because they were going to wait for more people to get an Xbox at christmas, then for them to get Xbox live so that more people can play Halo 2 on Xbox live.
I just want the damn game to play and sell, sod all that play live business.
Rant over, but here is the first ever screen shot of Halo 2 in multiplayer, (apparently):
