Ive got a bit of a prob.

Sometimes, when loading games, I hear a clicking sound and the game fails to load.

Any idea's? i've been told it could be the laser but not sure.

Cheers

I've never had that problem with my PS2, but I had similar problems with my PS1 until it eventually just wouldn't play anything at all, then I just binned it. I'm just thankful that the PS2 is backwards compatible.

But I did get one of those "Disc Read Error" messages the other day which got me a bit worried, especially after all the things that have been said on this site about it. So I just gave it a good clean and made sure all dust was cleared, and it seems to be okay now. But if it does end up 'dying' then it gives me an excuse to get one of those cool Silver PS2's.

Your ps2 must be pretty old then.

Where did you send it to?

I've only had it for 1 and half to 2 years.

That happens on my XBox sometimes, but never on the Cube. Must be something to do with DVD drives. Funking annoying.
