Can you restart GT mode without losing the Arcade mode data?
and...
Any ideas on when they are going to release the force feedback wheel without the game bundled in?
Also a good tip for 2-player games. Use the cars out of your garage. So if your mate comes over and picks the TVR Tuscan and you own it fully tuned up, it will still show the original facts about the car. So the 2nd player thinks they have the same car as you but yours is better.
I played on the Test course with my friend we both had the fully tuned up Escudo Pike. He got ahead and then I used the slip streaming on him. He didnt know how I did it so I said I used Nitros. He kept asking how I done it so I tried to figure it out and stuck it in to reverse :)
I havent had the message about the end movies. As Jive pointed out I did it on hard straight away and got all the bonuses, I got the end movies after competing all of arcade mode. You dont need to do anything in GT mode to gain the end movies.
>Because looking back on the way that I did it so far, I >recon I could have done it a lot better, but I dont want >to lose my Arcade mode wins, as I only have about 15 hard >mode races left to get gold on.
I thought I'd mucked up the GT Mode when I started one of the races, but perserverance and a bit of good luck has now seen me to 2.7m credit in the bank, no cars bought for ages and some 40 different cars....keep going man, you'll get there in the end!!
>Also, when you complete arcade mode, and it says "Do you
>want to see the end movie", and then it says "Please
>complete one of the levels" What does that mean? I did >arcade on easy and got that message, so i did it on normal >and got it again, so i did all the hard on level a and >still got it.
If you do the Arcade Mode, did you notice if you goto Bonus Items that there are 38 or 39 different tracks to complete?? (I'm not taking the p*$$ here, if you've seen it then sorry for pointing it out). Anyway, if you complete all 39 tracks on in hard mode each time you always get easy and normal completed for you (this info comes from Adrian not me) and therefore you only have to do each track once.
Once you've done them all on hard mode then you get to see both end credits, they're really boring and don't really give you anything extra apart from more cars and tracks to use in two player mode (info care of Adrian again).
Oh and if you hold down L1 and L2 when selecting the hard mode you get another hidden level....professional (again info from someone else on this forum)
Hope this info helps....if not then sorry!!
Happy GT3ing!!!
Also, when you complete arcade mode, and it says "Do you want to see the end movie", and then it says "Please complete one of the levels" What does that mean? I did arcade on easy and got that message, so i did it on normal and got it again, so i did all the hard on level a and still got it.
Is it you have to get golds in all of one of the GT leagues, (beginners, ameteurs, etc)?

1. I don't think you can restart the GT mode without losing all of the arcade mode info as when you save a game it saves both bits of game information, therefore if you complete the Arcade Mode and look in GT Mode you will see your game % complete up by about 30 - 35%.
2. Look in the PS2 perhipheral section and you should find the following OFFICIAL GRAN TURISMO 3 FORCE FEEDBACK STEERING WHEEL AND PEDALS FOR PLAYSTATION 2 Code = GG5878
retails at £59.99
Hope this helps....
