Yup, but gamers shouldn't expect to see online play any time soon with the GC. Well into 2002, at least.
either way i reckon that Nintendo can't lose, the GBA and the gamecube along with their staggering line up of games and their link up capabilities, not to mention future internet access! the future of games is Nintendo!

Well at least it's before the X-Box.
Anyway all the people who had N64's will buy the Gamecube because they know of the great games to expect.
Also when Zelda OOT was released N64 sdales went really igh bacause people were buying the system just to play that and with the huge success of pokemon more people will buy Gamecube because they will want to be able to play new Pokemon games.
It could go either way but methinks the Gamecube could be the winner! :D

Yes, from all that crappy spelling I can just about understand what you're talking about. Remember what happened to Sega and its DC - although you can say that it was released at the wrong time - oh wait a sec - GC, 3 days before Xbox - NOO!!!
nintendo have a bad past with the n64 this mite stop so many people from buying it there for stoping in becomeing the most popular. you mary not think this importain but it is! any way who gives a flip it the best of the best!

Nah! I agree the Gamecube will be the best next gen console but thats my opinion, the others are good but it's the games that makes the console and Nintendo have more "recognisable" characters.
The only thing that puts me off is the shape.

ok, gamecube will rock... who agrees? the ps2 is just an overhyped dvd player that also plays games... who agrees? the dreamcast looks like a sanwich toaster... who agrees? the x-bo... oh who cares, this is getting boring, the gamecube will rock, nuff said end of disscusion!
