Hi.

Is it possible to set up the Freeola mailservers to automatically delete messages that contain the text:

**********

Hi! How are you?

I send you this file in order to have your advice

See you later. Thanks

**********

(Without the asterixs)

It would be a great help. Thanks.

PS If you want the full message source I'll post it. Thanks.

You can't use mail rules, it's not possible. All the headers are different apart from the body and Outlook doesn't read it until it's downloaded.

Also if you run your Virus scanner when you're online it'll pick up on it and delete it before you have chance to do the click thing.

Just set up your filters in outlook to pick up on the title of the Email and it won't be downloaded.

I used to get the HAHAHA virus a lot some idiot at 123reg had opened it and infected their email database. I had 38 copies of it in 1 day. From all over the world so it had been sent out and bounced around a bit.

So I set up my filters and voila I don't get it anymore.

It's the 'SirCam' virus and i hate the bloody thing. I've spent ages downloading attatchments from people. basically it e-mails files from the infected harddrive to everyone in their address book.

Details on the virus and a lil tool to remove it from

It destroyed Bonus's machine when he opened it, so it is pretty annoying.

The thing is, a few people who know me were stupid enough to open this and now I get about 4 every day. It's a large download and it really pees me off. I actually haven't got it but it annoys me and probably countless others.

... are you able to Scan E-mails before they are placed in our mail boxes??? 'cus I was just thinking that if you are, then all you have to do is set it to delete E-mails if there attactments contain code that Deletes Files, etc...

Or maybe that add's a header/footer from you warning that the file attached could be bad.
