I doubt they'll accept a swap just due to some promo extra not working.. it's not like it was missing. The playstation loving monkey boys in the EMAGs near me would just stare at you laughing and say "Stars Catalogue? What?!" before chucking you out the store..
Take it back and demand another one.
You'd have no way of proving it wasn't you who had already entered the PIN, so you can't send off for another one.
