Can anybody tell me how I can get my internet conection wizard to save my password for my I.S.P. connection. Everytime I start I.E. 5.5 I have to enter my password.
There is a box which says 'Save Password' but this is greyed over and cannot be ticked.
The 'Connect Automatically' box is also greyed over and cannot be ticked.
Does anyone know what I can do to change this as I want to connect automatically to my default I.S.P. each time I start I.E. 5.5.

Windows ME crashes even more than 98. It's quite unbelievable.
The password box stayed greyed over all the time.
However I've found out that if I log off the default user from the start menu the password box can be ticked and saved. I have to log off everytime I start my pc though. Better than nothing I suppose.

The save password box is greyed out before you enter the password, try entering it and then look at the box.
In that case I have no idea. Sorry!
No, I don't get a Windows Logon box when my pc starts up. I should think I've just got a dodgy version of Windows 98 and I.E. 5.5
Do you get a Windows Logon box when you start your PC? If so, there might be your problem. I found that if you press cancel at this box, these options are greyed over.
