hello people. my tv don't have the 2 sockets in the back (red and white) that you can plug into the back of the stero to hear the tv (pluged them into back of sky box - can hear: vcr and sky). is there anyway i can set it up so i can hear my xbox through my stero speakers???

I'm assuming your TV has audio out as well as audio in then?

Lol, yes thats what i ment, it's how i have mine set up to.

If you mean through external speakers, then you can't with that setup.

thank you so much man!! watching dvds and playing games is like being in the cinema now, you know?


i dunno if i did what you said - that got a little confusing? - in the end i got the original xbox scart lead, plugged the power into the back of the xbox (obveously) and then there was the 3 wires - red, yellow and white. they had a cable around them. i cut that open to plug the video lead into the side of me tv and i plugged the red and white into the back of my stero...and bingo...me very happy :-)

Yea there is.
Take out the 2 sound wires in the scart cable and put them into the back of your stereo, if you need a longer lead then buy one, plug it into the sound on the scart and then plug that into the stereo.
Thats how i have it.
