SIM games are still hugely popular, with millions of happy gamers creating theme parks, airports, hopitals, even homes and families, so what's next in the sim line?

Sim Old Folks Home.

What a great game this would be!

Firstly it would be a graphical masterpiece, with every wrinkle, every hairy wart, every pair of stained undies modeled to perfection. You'd think you were really there, if only you could also smell the wee.... Well you can, as the game would come with a special scratch and sniff card, just to give you the feel of really being there!

The object of the game would be to progress from working in a small old folks home, to running a huge complex for the old folks.

Each home would have increasily more difficult tasks to perform, with new features, as you progress through your life caring for the elderly.

The initial old folks home would give you relatively simple tasks, like getting the old folks to where they need to be on time - food, bathroom, bed. You'd also have to do the medication rounds, ensuring that they got thier proper dosages.

To pass the first level would be relatively simple, just keep 95% of them alive for 1 month.

But this is just to lul you into a false sense of security!

Later levels have you responding to buzzers, having to get to the old folks when they need something, helping them into clean underwear if you're too late, feeding them when need be.

As you get into the game, you can start to hire other staff, and delegate responsibilities to them, so you'll never have to bath another fat old lady again. Unless you want to. But with staff come extra problems, paying them, making sure they treat the old folks right. The challenge builds steadily to make for one very satisfying SIM.

The game does take you outside of the old folks home on a number of occasions too, with special 'days out' bonus levels.

Here it is your duty to show the coffin-dodgers a good time, without over exciting any of them, or losing them. It's just another thing that makes this SIM 'sim'ply devine!

Love the idea!.... We'll probably see it on the shelves of our videogames shops in the next week or 2!

Im not so sure about "the game would come with a special scratch and sniff card, just to give you the feel of really being there". I think this could get a bit nasty! :)

*Scratch Scratch....Sniff Sniff... Yep, certainly smells like Granny Droppings!....Wonder if it tastes the same?....Lick Lick..........*

And the worrying thing is that people would buy this game, and it would probably get to the top of the charts!.....

How much longer are these SIM game makers going to rip us off for?......
