Well. Got this today, because I wanted to. Will get BG&E at some point.
Anyway. The most uninspiring opening ever. The first level as such sucks majorly bad. However, once you get a sword, it improves, and then the bit I'm on, in a big palace, is good stuff.
It looks lovely, although not as nice as I'd hoped, but the palace is sweet. Nice sounds, no voice acting which was annoying, but good music. So far it's all a bit linear collecting, but I've only played for an hour or so, so I've not really touched it yet. Looks to improve certainly, and I will definitly play it all through, but I've earmarked it for possible sale already after completion.

It's got a lot better, but is pretty generic, but fun and has some much better stuff in it now.
Ok, it does take an hour to get into it! I promise you it gets better, you haven't become the mummy yet have you? It's good that we have different opinions but don't gvie up on it! I really did enjoy it, the first level is dire, but i didn't want to mark the game based on this because afterwards it does get better and better... Well done for trying it out by the way!
Hmmm. Just been reading the Gamespot review and it likes it a lot - also says that it takes about 2 hours to really get started.
Therefore, in about half an hour's time I should start having some proper fun.
