I was under the impression that from August, 2 GADs would be awarded everyday. One for reviews and one for discussions, but if you look at the winner's list you'll see there's only one being awarded per day and they're for a mixture of reviews and games!

I was worried at one point that you were going to stop fads from being won from topics, and while so many fad topics win not because they were written to win something, it does at least encourage some great discussions.
