the nintendo DS is clearly the winner, nintendo specialise in gaming and handheld consoles, they have sold more than 1,000,000,000 on all of thier handhelds while sony have sold zilch handheld gameing machines, the gameboy ds will have duo screens a camera n64 graphics and will back run all gameboy games, the psp will have no games to back run and will only have about 15 games in its first month, i dont no anything about the features of the psp though

I would go for the DS.
Since it will have a new and different feature.
The PSP will be more expensive than the DS. The discs for the PSP can probably be destroyed much more easier than the DS'media cards. And I will also buy the GB Next or GBA2 or whatever it has been named since i am a fan of Nintendo. There are not any good reasons to own two 3d handhelds and the DS and maybe one or two of the next home consoles.
But then again many news can show up and change my mind.

I heard something about that its going to have touch screen and Wireless comunication (probaly bluetooth).

The ds will be good as it has the most features and is not being as much rushed as the psp

The DS wont have backwards compatibility as it isnt the successor 2 the GBA. It will still ROCK!! but it wont have a built in mp3 player like the PSP. Lets hope Ninty can make up sum really good games with it, instead of having just maps!!

Very few details of the DS have ben released, there is no evidence of a camera (although there probobly will be one) and it won't play GBA games. Nintendo have said it is a completely different system to the GBA.
It'll be tough for Nintendo, as although they've never released a handheld before, the 'Playstation' name alone sells.
You could slap 'Playstation' on a packet of tampons and it'll sell to millions of ten year old boys.
Don't underestimate the power of 'Playstation'.

I wouldn't underestimate Sony, the same thing happened with the Playstation you know. I think Sony will probably win because their name is on it, and the vast casual gamer market will be drawn to it, as long as they get the price right. The DS will do well, no doubt about that, but there are more Sony fanboys than Nintendo right now, so Nintendo really have to climb the biggest mountain wearing greased up slippers.

Not everyone loves innovation, the next gen GameBoy is more likely to give Sony's PSP a run for it's money. Yes, it will no doubt have some good games a sell a fair few units (so long as it doesn't cost you too much) but I doubt it's the invention that will make Nintendo billions.
